Curved Canter Module
- Heavy duty construction pivot support base with precision leveling pads
- Pivot point mounted at the front cutting edge of the canter heads
- Rotational motion (6 degrees max from co-linear with through feed) on oversized Timken bearing, bas mounted and linear positioner actuated
- Heavy wall tube steel canter assembly support frame, machined and keyed for precision alignment with pivot mount
- Heavy duty integral “wrap around” anvils to support cant through curve canting process
- Eight (8) Precision linear bearings and way with 80,000# load rating per bearing in all directions
- Two (2) 23″ diameter (across face plate) conical head assemblies
- Linear positioned
- Six (6) Knife heads required for feed speeds
- System is quoted with Lindex closed style heads
- Other brand heads can be used
- Heads are fully loaded but does not include knives or spares
- Bolt on replaceable chip chutes and head guards
